Terms of Use

Last updated: 13 June 2026

By using Plot you agree to these terms. Plot is operated by Ermir Ademi. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the service. Questions: support@plottax.com.

What Plot is

Plot provides free tax calculators, deductions and reliefs finders, and cash-basis record-keeping for the self-employed, landlords and small businesses across the UK, Ireland, Australia, the United States and Germany.

Estimates, not tax advice

Everything Plot shows is an estimate to help you understand your position. It is not tax, legal or financial advice, and it does not replace a qualified accountant or your tax authority.

You are responsible for what you file. Always check your figures with the relevant tax authority or a professional before relying on them. We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on Plot's estimates.

Your account

Keep your login details secure and provide accurate information. You're responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no attempting to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer it, and no using it unlawfully.

Your data

You own the figures you enter. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and process them to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Availability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every figure is free of error.

Paid plans

Some features may require a paid subscription in future. Pricing, billing, renewal and cancellation terms will be shown clearly before you pay, and added to these terms at that time.

Intellectual property

Plot, its software, design and brand are owned by us. These terms don't transfer any of those rights to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on estimates. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.

Changes

We may update these terms. The latest version will always be on this page, with its last-updated date.
